Golf du Château de Chailly - Golf course information & golf holiday offers
The Golf du Château de Chailly, next to its listed hotel, is an 18-hole, par 73, 6160-metre golf course. In 2022, it was named among the top 10 golf courses in the north-east of France by Fairways magazine.
Created in 1995, the golf course was designed by Géry Watine and Thierry Sprecher, strategically distributing large varieties of trees to give the course diverse textures and colours (especially in the autumn) and perfectly incorporating the natural stream that meanders the golf course. Although the greens are relatively large, golfers will have to attack the greens strategically, as they are all elevated, well protected with deep bunkers to the side and some with imposing water hazards.
The golf club has a large golf practice area to warm up before your round or work on all aspects of the golf game. On the driving range, you can hit on the synthetic mats or from the grass outdoors. In addition, there is a putting green and chipping green along with bunkers for practising sand shots.
