La Iguana Golf Course - Golf course information & golf holiday offers
La Iguana Golf Course (1999), designed by Ted Robinson, is an 18-hole championship course considered a natural challenge, as golfers play through the Costa Rican rainforest. The landscape includes native exotic plants, banana trees and orchids, and more than 150 species of birds have been identified, as well as monkeys and other wildlife on the course.
The 6100-metre Par 72 course requires precision on its narrow fairways on undulating terrain with some side-sloping fairways making it unpredictable at times. The innumerable water hazards, bushes and bunkers will challenge more than one low handicapper and make it interesting for any amateur golfer. The facilities, adjacent to the Marriott’s Los Sueños Resort, include a clubhouse with restaurant, PGA qualified golf professionals, a large driving range, a putting green and Taylormade rental equipment.
