Valle del Sol Golf

Located on the outskirts of San Jose, the Valle del Sol golf course dates back to 1970, although it was redesigned by the renowned American architect Tracy May in 1997. The imposing view of the central mountain range with the peak of the Irazú volcano and the colourful green gardens typical of Costa Rica accompany players throughout their game.

The Par 72 course features wide, undulating fairways surrounded by majestic trees and expansive lakes that attract diverse and lively wildlife.  Surrounded by colourful landscaped gardens, the greens present a perfectly smooth and fast surface and are undoubtedly a great challenge for players. Each hole has 5 tee boxes extending the course over a range of 4100 to 6900 yards and adapting it for different levels of play making it friendly and enjoyable for novices and challenging for professionals. The complex has a Proshop, golf academy and clubhouse for players to relax.
