The third tourist area is Montego Bay where you’ll find countless luxury resorts with the advantage of being close to the international airport. This area grew in popularity in the 1920’s and has grown to become Jamaica’s most popular tourist destination. The northern area between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios is home to some of Jamaica’s finest properties.
Wherever you stay on the island, you can play golf, take day trips to see some of Jamaica’s enchanting scenery, visit the beautiful Dunn’s River Falls, go scuba diving, raft down one of its rivers or take a drive through the Cockpit area or the Blue Mountains.
