Jamaica golf travel - Experience unforgettable golf holidays!
Being a quintessential Caribbean tourist island, travellers have no shortage of options when it comes to visiting lush Jamaica, famous also for James Bond film locations and the 36-hole Royal Hall Jamaica located on a historic banana plantation with myths and legends of its former owner.
There are three major tourist areas in Jamaica, one of which is Negril with the best beaches and long stretches of it where you can walk freely to Bloody Bay, a beautiful secluded bay with several resorts. Another area is Ocho Rios which is about 2 hours from Montego Bay airport with resorts and public and private beaches. If you stay in Ocho Rios, you will be closer to the capital Kingston, the Blue Mountains, Port Antonio and Dunn’s River Falls.
The third tourist area is Montego Bay where you’ll find countless luxury resorts with the advantage of being close to the international airport. This area grew in popularity in the 1920’s and has grown to become Jamaica’s most popular tourist destination. The northern area between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios is home to some of Jamaica’s finest properties.
Wherever you stay on the island, you can play golf, take day trips to see some of Jamaica’s enchanting scenery, visit the beautiful Dunn’s River Falls, go scuba diving, raft down one of its rivers or take a drive through the Cockpit area or the Blue Mountains. There are so many attractions on this diverse and characterful island that you won’t know which to choose during your stay.
