Ras Al Hamra Golf Club - Golf course information & golf holiday offers
Ras Al Hamra was designed by Graham Marsh Golf Design and is a desert-style course set amidst an arid wadi and coastal slopes, next to the Gulf of Oman. It has 18 holes and is unrivalled as the first fully floodlit golf course.
The course is great fun to play because it features a strategic placement of several tees with large double greens, as well as alternate placements, creating a par 71 layout that varies between 5,400 and 6,500 yards.
It opened in 1969 as a sand course, but was later redesigned as a grass course, with native trees and shrubs planted throughout.
