 The “Grande Dame” as the Dom Pedro Old Course Golf Club is known is one of Vilamoura’s premier courses. Designed by Frank Pennick, this 18 hole Par 73 is a jewel of the Portuguese coastline that will test your game to the highest level. On your visit to this course you will find impeccable tees, wonderful fairways, small greens especially on the Par 3 holes and strategically placed obstacles waiting for a bad shot. The front nine requires concentration and a careful choice of shots and clubs. Things don’t get any easier on the back nine as it will require accurate tee shots with long fairways and a collection of well placed bunkers to receive your ball. The Old Course is a high quality “classic” that should be visited on your Portugal golf holiday.
