Penha Longa Atlantic Course

Designed by the famed Robert Trent Jones Jr. the Penha Longa Atlantic is an 18-hole championship course set along the stunning Sintra hills (40 minutes from Lisbon). Nestled in the enchanting Natural Park of an important 14th century monastery, the layout runs through rolling terrain through gently wooded hills that present an environment of relaxation and natural beauty for the golfer.

The course of 6313 metres Par 72 has interesting water hazards, some with elevated greens, adding to its technical difficulty, the factor of the gusty winds that can sometimes occur. A course that must be played with respect, requiring the skill of the most experienced golfers. It is not for nothing that it has hosted the Portuguese Open and important international events, being the favourite of several professionals.
