Gary Player Country Club

South Africa’s most prestigious course, the Gary Player Country Club golf course, designed by Gary Player, is an 18-hole, par 72, walk-only course with a 5km walking path along the course. It hosts the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge in which some of the world’s golfing legends take part.

A mostly flat but not boring course with strategically placed bushes, lakes and bunkers, it is a serious test for any golfer. However, its different tee positions make it accessible to all handicappers. Its fabulous kidney or clover shaped greens are well protected by water, ravines or mounds, which will test the smoothness of your swing. Overall this is a fair championship course, requiring cunning and accuracy to leave the clubhouse satisfied and content.
