Fancourt Golf Club

Fancourt Resort is home to the legendary Gary Player designed Montagu and Outeniqua golf courses. The two world-class parkland-style courses capture the natural beauty of the Garden Route and meet the exacting expectations of champions as well as the needs of beginner golfers. A detailed shot-control system takes golfers through the course, providing distance measurements and images that help players navigate the course. There is a warm-up course and a chipping and bunker practice area. Buggies are also available for hire, weather permitting.

Montagu, South Africa’s fifth best course, covers large tracts of varied terrain through a wooded landscape surrounded by nature that is unique to the area. Golfers can expect a challenging but enjoyable golfing experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the Fancourt Estate.

The Outeniqua course, named after the mountains, is ranked 20th out of the top 100 courses in South Africa, offering a leisurely and entertaining golfing experience. Its terrain is more gentle than its counterpart Montagu, but offers its fair share of challenges to keep golfers interested.
