PGA Catalunya Golf - Golf course information & golf holiday offers
The PGA Catalunya golf course (1999) number one in Spain and one of the best in Europe, is a masterpiece designed by Angel Gallardo & Neil Coles, has two 18-hole courses, The Stadium Course, home to numerous PGA European Tour and praised by professional players and the Tour Course, not so severe but equally beautiful.
The Stadium Course in addition to the beauty of the course requires concentration as the course makes no concessions to the players, but demands the utmost attention to fairways literally besieged by trees, strategically placed bunkers and lakes that must be faced on seven of the most difficult holes. The tees are elevated and very few fairways are uphill. One of the exceptions is the fabulous dogleg on the 6th hole, a real challenge that demands good driver and accuracy from the player.
The Tour Course, on the other hand, forgives the occasional less-than-perfect shot, but guarantees a challenge for all levels. The course is dominated by pine trees and the fairways are wider, but don’t worry, water is present on every shot.
Without a doubt, PGA Catalunya is one of the best courses in the world that every golfer should play at least once.
