Abu Dhabi Golf Club - Golf course information & golf holiday offers
Nestled in the desert, Abu Dhabi Golf Club features the National, an 18-hole championship course and the 9-hole floodlit Garden Course, perfect for after a stroll through the city.
The Host of the European Tour HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, it was opened in 2000 by architect Peter Harradine. It unfolds over 7,600 yards along a rolling terrain lined with palm trees, trees and desert-like undergrowth, as well as 7 incredible saltwater lakes. This Par 72 is difficult but fair, with large greens and well placed bunkers amongst the lush fairways.
The Garden Course is characterised by its illumination, with a wide variety of holes including two par 5’s measuring over 500 yards. With four tee options along its 3,300 yards, the Garden Course is a perfect short course for beginner golfers.
Overlooking the golf course is the impressive clubhouse built in the shape of a falcon with its wings outstretched. On its three elegant floors you will find restaurants, a meeting room, sports and fitness facilities, pro-shop and practice facilities where golf lessons are also available.
