Carved out of the desert and just 15 minutes from downtown Dubai, Gary Johnston designed the Dubai Hills with two back nine holes, one clockwise and the other counterclockwise. The front nine has elevation changes with wadis or valleys while the back nine incorporates lakes and is more desert in style. The undulating greens and bunkers will be a great challenge to achieve a good score, and every shot will be accompanied by the impressive skyline of Dubai and the sublime Burj Khalifa.
