Its main towns are Mallow, Macroom, Midleton and Skibbereen. Its tourist attractions include the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. The port of Cobh, in County Cork, was the embarkation point for many Irish emigrants travelling to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.
