The Costa Brava stretches from Blanes, north of Barcelona, to Roses, near the French border. A region where you can enjoy an unforgettable golf holiday: nature, beaches, forests, art, culture and world-class golf courses. Its mild climate all year round, typical of the Mediterranean, makes playing golf a real pleasure. Its golf courses are distributed in inland areas and near the coast, for those who dream of teeing off in the mountains and finishing by the sea. The typical characteristics of the courses in this area are the surroundings and the technical design, where you will be able to show off your variety of shots.

PGA Catalunya Golf

02.03. — green fee per player: 18 Holes Tours Course Guest Hotel Camiral/LAVIDA hotel (10:00)
The PGA Catalunya golf course (1999) number one in Spain and one of the best in Europe, is a masterpiece designed by Angel Gallardo & Neil Coles, has two 18-hole courses, The Stadium Course, home to numerous PGA European Tour and praised by professional players and the Tour Course, not so severe but equally beautiful. The Stadium Course in addition to the beauty of the course requires concentration as the course makes no concessions to the players, but demands the utmost attention to fairways literally besieged by trees, strategically placed bunkers and lakes that must be faced on seven of the most difficult holes. The tees are elevated and very few fairways are uphill. One of the exceptions is the fabulous dogleg on the 6th hole, a real challenge that demands good driver and accuracy from the player. The Tour Course, on the other hand, forgives the occasional less-than-perfect shot, but guarantees a challenge for all levels. The course is dominated by pine trees and the fairways are wider, but don’t worry, water is present on every shot. Without a doubt, PGA Catalunya is one of the best courses in the world that every golfer should play at least once.

Golf de Pals

04.03. — green fee per player: Green Fee 18 Holes (10:00)
Being the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava (1966), Golf de Pals is located on an ancient dune covered by an immense Mediterranean pine forest and only 500 metres from the sea. The course runs between gentle hills, pine forests and lakes. The front nine is rather short with narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers, soft doglegs and large pine trees guarding the greens. Here the emphasis is on accuracy rather than power. The final holes are longer, with wide fairways and generous greens. The 18-hole Par 72 course, designed by Ramos Espinosa, is technically difficult but its 6,263 metres are accessible to all types of players. In the Club House, which reproduces an old barn, you will find a Pro-Shop, changing rooms, rest rooms, bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy Empordà cuisine.
