Golf club page 18.11. — green fee per player: Green Fee 18 Holes (10:00) Set in an area of 50 hectares on the slopes of Mount Jaizkibel, the 18-hole Par 71 Real Golf Club de San Sebastian will provide a challenge to any player. Its designer, the Frenchman Pierre Hirigoyen, has integrated the course perfectly into the landscape. The course is dominated by gently sloping fairways, but some of them are quite steep, with large elevated tees and few bunkers. The clubhouse is of sober and elegant design, located in the old Bordagain farmhouse in typical Basque style. The club has modern facilities and also a practice area for the short game.
Chiberta Golf
Golf club page 19.11. — green fee per player: Green Fee 18 Holes (10:00) Located in a natural environment and facing the sea in the French Basque country, Chiberta Golf is a paradise for all golfers. This enchanting golf course blends its course harmoniously between links style and the Chiberta forests. Designed by Tom Simpson in 1927, this Par 70 of 5,647 metres has wide fairways where the wind often makes itself felt and large greens, in some cases elevated. The beautiful bunkers protect the greens very well so you will have to make a good approach if you want to get a good score. Chiberta golf is definitely a course that deserves a trip to this region.
