Óbidos stands on a hill surrounded by medieval walls. Its streets, squares, walls and castle are popular tourist destinations. The castle now houses an inn. Close to the medieval village of Óbidos you will find excellent golf courses where you can play golf. The town is also home to the famous Playa del Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort golf course, ranked the seventh best in Europe by Golf World magazine. From this exquisite golf course you can enjoy wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Another golf course is Bom Sucesso Architecture Resort, Leisure & Golf, which has 18 holes, par 72, and a challenging slope.
