Salgado GC is located on Salgados beach, with a long sandy beach on one side and a protected area on the other. It is a links-style course, with gentle sea breezes and a rich fauna. Visiting Salgados golf course is easy and enjoyable thanks to its location, with greens and tees in close proximity to each other.

Designer Nick Faldo recognised the need for an Arizona-style golf course in Europe and designed it specifically to stand out from the famous golf courses in the surrounding area. This Portuguese gem requires a careful and strategic approach to avoid desert scrub shelters, rocky outcrops, tricky water hazards and hidden olive trees.
