Golf Son Muntaner is a course designed to exceed your expectations. In 2016 we are carrying out an ambitious project for a complete change of grass. The new Bermuda Celebration was planted on all fairways and Agrostis V8 was chosen for its expanded greens. With this process, Golf Son Muntaner becomes a reference course for any golf lover and one of the best European golf courses. An extraordinary design, greens that offer continuous challenges and careful maintenance make playing this course a must for golfers visiting our island. We recommend that you especially enjoy the 5th and 6th holes which have been refurbished following the original design, making the course even more competitive. In the second round, it is worth stopping for a second to admire “Na Capitana”, the oldest olive tree in Mallorca and catalogued as a Singular Tree by the Balearic Government. The project described above has not only led to an improvement in the game but also in environmental management. More water saving and less chemicals. Golf Son Muntaner has renewed its EMAS certification in 2017, which represents the most important distinction related to environmental management that a company can achieve in the European Union. This 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. opened in 2003. Located in the north of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada is right next to the sea. The 6,499 meter long course blends naturally with the typical Mallorcan terrain. From most holes you can see the island of Alcanada with its lighthouse which is the inspiration for the club's logo. In addition to the splendid view of the sea, the player is surrounded by pine and olive forests. Although it is a young course, Alcanada is already recognized by a large number of golf magazines and golf guides as one of the best courses in Spain and Europe.

Golf Son Vida is the course with the most tradition, the first one in Mallorca and a legend among players from all over Europe. It is the ideal course for history lovers. For those who have enjoyed Severiano's victories, as he will have the luxury of playing on a course that has been played by world-class players. Moreover, also for those young golfers who are looking for a challenge to their technique, its design puts it to the test hole by hole, they do not make courses like this anymore. Moreover, few golf courses can boast of having held a European Tour event twice (in 1990 and 1994). It was in the first of these events that Severiano Ballesteros made history. The legendary Cantabrian sportsman won the Balearic Islands Open in the play-off on the 18th hole, a spectacular par 5 with dodleg, an incredible feat that is still remembered in the Son Vida Golf Clubhouse. The technical design of the course, whose fairways run alongside the mansions of the Son Vida urbanization, requires an intelligent playing strategy. Its impressive last par 5 hole with a second shot over water is a temptation for the more daring golfers. Son Gual prides itself on meeting every need and providing the highest standards of quality to its members and guests, leaving nothing to chance. The owners will invite a select number of members to join the “Son Gual Members Council”, whose function is to protect the integrity and value of the resort. 

Handling fees

  • 20.– € per person (centralized invoice up to 6 people)
  • 15.– € per person (centralized invoice from 7 up to 12 people)
  • 10.– € per person (centralized invoice from 13 people)

Change of reservation

If a booking amendment is made after the booking confirmation or after the tee times confirmation, we will invoice the following booking amendment fees:

  • Tee times booking amendment: 50.– € per invoice
  • Hotel booking amendment: 100.– € per invoice

Cancellation policy

  • up to 15 days before arrival date: 30 %
  • from 14 to 7 days before arrival date: 50 %
  • from 6 to 4 days before arrival date: 75 %
  • from 3 before arrival to arrival date, late arrival, early departure, no show: 100 %

Minimum cancellation fee: 100.– € per person

Where applicable, other payment conditions and cancellation policies will be applied (on the travel price).
Only the date of cancellations in writing will be taken into account.

Flights are not included in the offered travel package. Italia Golf & More AG is only a mediator for the service of flight booking and not a contracting party.

Therefore, only the general contract and travel conditions of the related airlines apply.
The flight prices, times and availabilities listed in the travel offer, may change any time.

Payment conditions

A deposit of 30 % must be paid within 5 working days from the issue date of the invoice.
The outstanding balance is due 45 days before arrival date.
Reservations of groups from 16 people onwards are subject to different payment conditions.

For each invoice, only centralized payments will be accepted. The group coordinator should collect the participants’ deposit and outstanding balance and settle the invoice. Individual payments of single participants won’t be accepted.

Payment method

Payment by bank transfer or credit card (VISA or Mastercard). All confirmations of reservation received within 14 working days from the arrival date involve a credit card payment (VISA/MASTERCARD).

Taxes

Please take note that a tourist tax has been in force in Italy since 27.07.2011. Whether it is applied, it must be paid directly at the hotel by the end-client, at the check-out.

Rent of classic cars

The rent of our classic/vintage cars implies the application of the related renting conditions which will be provided on request.

Claims

Claims in writing on the part of the customer shall be sent to the Agency by recorded delivery with acknowledgment of receipt, within 10 working days from the travel return date.

General travel conditions valid for all reservations booked through Italia Golf & More AG, based on the federal act on package travel of 18 June 1993 of the Federal Assembly of the Swiss Confederation, based on section 31 sexies and 64 of the Federal Constitution. In compliance with the legislative decree of 17 March 1995, No. 111 of the implematation of Directive 90/314/EEC on package travel, package holidays and package tours, the company or the vendor to whom the customer turns to shall have the administrative authorization to operate in conformity with section 3/1, letter A of the legislative decree No. 111/95.

The contract between the customer and the agency is subject to the law No. 1084 of 27/12/1997 of the ratification and enforcement of the International Treaty on travel contracts, signed in Brussels on the 23.04.1970, and to the above mentioned legislative decree No. 111 of 17.03.1995.

Liability insurance: Italia Golf & More AG subscribed an insurance contract with AXA/Winterthur. As no other insurance is included in the price of the stay, we recommend you to subscribe a travel insurance agreement in the event of travel cancellation.

Security Fund: Italia Golf & More AG is member of the Swiss Travel Guarantee Fund. All members of the fund are insured in case of insolvency or financial distress and can therefore offer this additional security to all customers. In case of insolvency or financial distress of the company, customers will have the right to claim a refund of the amount paid.

The place of jurisdiction is exclusively the seat of “Italia Golf & More AG”, Aussengrütstrasse 2, 6319 Allenwinde, CHE-114.633.560, CEO Markus Hartwig.

With the current travel conditions, all travel conditions published before are void. All information is subject to change.
